Need ideas for lighting up a dark attic space

I've got this attic that's always been kinda dark and gloomy, and I finally decided to do something about it. First, I put in some LED strip lights along the beams - super easy, just peel and stick. Then I added a couple battery-powered motion sensor lights near the entrance, so I don't have to fumble around for switches. It's way better now, but still feels a bit shadowy in the corners. Anyone got other tricks or maybe better setups they've tried?
