Okay, I'm finally tackling the bathroom redo I've been putting off forever. It's small, no windows, and right now it's this weird beige-y color that makes it feel even more cramped and depressing. I thought about going bright white to open it up, but honestly, I'm worried it'll just feel like a sterile hospital room or something.

I was thinking maybe a soft pastel shade could make it feel cozy without shrinking the space too much? Or maybe a darker color could actually be cool and dramatic? I've seen some pics online of dark navy or charcoal bathrooms that look surprisingly nice, but I'm scared it'll end up looking like a cave in real life.

Has anyone else dealt with a tiny bathroom with no natural light? What colors worked out well for you? Or any colors you totally regret using? I'm kinda stuck here and could really use some real-life experiences before I commit to painting this weekend...

I redid my tiny bathroom last yearβ€”also windowlessβ€”and went with a soft sage green. Honestly, it turned out way better than expected. It feels cozy and calm without being too dark or cave-like.

I considered dark navy too, but chickened out last minute. Still kinda curious how that would've turned out though... Did anyone here actually go dark in a small space and love it?
