Came across this random article today that said the type of sheets and bedding materials you use can actually impact how well you sleep. Like, apparently cotton vs linen vs microfiber can make a noticeable difference in comfort and temperature regulation. I never really thought about it much—I usually just grab whatever's on sale, lol. Curious if anyone else has noticed a difference when switching sheet materials or if this is just another one of those overblown lifestyle things?

I get the idea behind it, but honestly, I've experimented quite a bit with different sheets over the years and found it doesn't really make all that much difference—at least not for me. A while back, I splurged on some fancy linen sheets after reading similar stuff about how breathable and cooling they supposedly were. They felt nice at first, sure, but after a few nights I realized my sleep quality was exactly the same as when I used those cheap cotton-blend sheets from Target.

Yeah, same here now... I've tried microfiber too—people rave about how soft they are—but personally found them kind of clingy and uncomfortable after a while. Maybe it's just personal preference or sensitivity level? Either way, I'm not convinced bedding material alone is gonna noticeably improve anyone's sleep unless you've got specific sensitivities or allergies. Seems like one of those lifestyle tweaks that's easy to overthink.
