I've been trying to get better at budgeting since buying my first house, and honestly, it's been a bit of trial and error. First, I listed out all my fixed expenses (mortgage, insurance, utilities) and then set aside a monthly amount for repairs and maintenanceβbecause something always breaks, you know? Then I track everything in a spreadsheet. It's working okay-ish, but I'm wondering if anyone has a simpler or smarter way to handle this stuff.
