- Had a similar situation last year—thought I had everything covered, but the inspector zeroed in on the backsplash grout of all things.
- Ventilation was fine, seals were good, but apparently grout lines matter more than you'd think...
- Maybe give your tiles a quick glance too? Could save you from an unexpected headache tomorrow. Good luck!

Definitely agree on grout lines—inspectors can be picky about moisture buildup. I'd also suggest checking under the sink cabinet for any minor leaks or water stains... inspectors love poking around there too. Quick wipe-down could save you some hassle tomorrow.

Good points, but honestly, inspectors aren't usually that picky about minor water stains under the sink—at least mine wasn't. Had a small leak stain there last year, and he barely glanced at it. I'd focus more on obvious stuff like cluttered counters or greasy stovetops. Quick tidy-up there made a bigger difference for me than worrying about every little drip under the sink...

Fair enough, but honestly, inspectors can be a bit unpredictable. Had one last year who practically crawled under the sink with a flashlight—felt like a CSI episode. I'd at least wipe down any stains quickly... better safe than sorry, right?

Good call on wiping stains, but honestly, inspectors usually care more about leaks or mold than a bit of clutter. Last time mine barely glanced at the dishes piled up... Anyone ever had an inspector comment on general messiness?
