Bamboo sounds cool, but honestly, I'm skeptical about durability. Couple thoughts:
- Had a neighbor who went bamboo crazy—deck, flooring, even countertops. Looked amazing at first, but after a few years of sun and rain, it got pretty faded and warped.
- Also heard bamboo can get slippery when wet...not ideal for clumsy folks like me (ask my bruised knees).
- Personally, I've had better luck with reclaimed hardwood—still eco-friendly, plus you get that rustic charm without worrying about regrowth rates.
