Totally agree on the patience part—my first attempt at a deck cover was a disaster. Learned a few things since then:
- Rushing it is tempting, but you'll regret it later (trust me).
- Flashing and sealing are your best friends—skimp here and you'll pay for it every rainy day.
- My second try took twice as long, but now I can sit out there with coffee during storms and stay bone dry.
Sometimes stubbornness pays off...or maybe it's just learning from past mistakes, lol.
