So I've got this wooden fence in my backyard, and honestly it's barely doing its job. I mean, it's technically standing, but there's gaps between the boards big enough to see clearly through. Every time I'm out there just trying to chill, I catch glimpses of my neighbors walking past or doing yard work. And if I can see them, they can definitely see me. It's awkward as heck.
Tried planting some bushes along the fence line last year, thinking they'd grow thick enough to block things out, but nope—still waiting for them to fill in properly. Thought about those privacy screens too, but I'm worried they'll look tacky or blow away in a storm or something.
Am I just being overly sensitive here, or does anyone else feel like their fence is basically useless when it comes to privacy? Would love to hear how other people are dealing with this issue.
