"Went modular instead—best decision ever."
Same here, modular shelving saved my sanity. Had a client who insisted on custom built-ins, but halfway through the reno, they changed hobbies and suddenly needed room for kayaks... flexibility is everything. Also, epoxy floors are definitely worth the hassle, pizza bribes included.
