IS IT JUST ME OR ARE THERE TOO MANY ECO LABELS NOW?

Those foam gaskets behind outlets are underrated - did the same thing in my 1920s place and it made a noticeable difference in drafts. I’m with you on the “crawl around with a caulk gun” approach. One thing that surprised me was using rope caulk around old window sashes. Dirt cheap, easy to remove in spring, and actually cut down on the cold spots way more than any fancy window film I tried. Has anyone else found a low-cost fix that worked better than expected? Sometimes I wonder if all these labels just distract from what really matters - actually plugging the holes.
