Just saw a local news story about the city tightening up rules on drainage projects. Apparently, people have been doing their own drainage fixes without permits, and now the city's stepping in to enforce stricter guidelines. I get it, flooding's no joke, but um... seems like it could get complicated fast for homeowners. Curious if anyone else saw this or has had experience dealing with permits for drainage stuff—seems like a hassle, you know?
