"Personally, I had better luck installing a small, low-wattage closet heater on a timer."

That's actually a clever workaround—though I can practically hear my wallet crying already. But hey, mold-free closets and frizz-free hair? Worth every penny in my book...

I've gone down the heater route too, and yeah, it definitely works—but the electric bill spike wasn't exactly fun. Eventually, I switched tactics and added a moisture absorber (those little buckets of silica gel beads you can get at hardware stores) in each closet. Cheaper, silent, and no wiring needed. Plus, it cut down the frizz factor noticeably. Might be worth a shot if you're looking to save a few bucks...

Totally agree, those silica gel buckets do wonders. Another trick I've found useful is improving closet airflow—simple vent grilles at the top and bottom of closet doors can make a noticeable difference. Just cut out small rectangular openings, pop in some inexpensive plastic or metal vents from the hardware store, and you're good to go. It helps moisture escape naturally without ongoing costs or maintenance. Plus, less humidity means fewer mold issues and happier hair days...

Have you noticed any noise issues with vented closet doors? I've done something similar in my laundry room closet—definitely helped moisture-wise, but sometimes the washer seems louder... Curious if you've experienced that too.

I haven't noticed much extra noise from mine, but then again, my closet isn't near anything loud like a washer. Maybe it's just the location? Either way, sounds like you're on the right track tackling moisture issues—small wins count!
