"closets are easier to fix than hairstyles, unfortunately."

Haha, true enough. But honestly, even closets can be tricky depending on the insulation and airflow setup. Did you check if your closet walls were insulated properly? Sometimes that's the hidden culprit behind persistent mold issues...

Yeah, insulation and airflow are biggies. Had a similar issue myself—no matter how many times I cleaned the closet, mold kept popping back up. Turned out, the previous owner had slapped wallpaper directly over drywall without sealing it properly. Moisture got trapped behind and just kept feeding the mold. Took forever to figure that out, honestly...

Ended up stripping everything down, sealing properly, and repainting with mold-resistant paint. Also put in a small vent for airflow. Haven't had a problem since, thankfully. But yeah, closets can definitely be sneaky—sometimes the simplest-looking fix turns into a weekend project.

As for hairstyles... well, can't help much there. Humidity always wins in my experience, haha.

Had a similar mold issue in my first place—thought it was just surface stuff at first, but nope... ended up pulling drywall and adding insulation. Definitely agree on airflow being key. As for the hair, I've accepted defeat; humidity always has the final say, lol.

Been there myself, mold is sneaky stuff. A few things that helped me:

- Installed a small vent fan in the closet (sounds weird, but it works).
- Switched to moisture absorbers like DampRid—cheap and effective.
- Hair-wise... gave up on styling products. Hats are my new best friend.

Humidity always wins eventually, but at least we can keep mold at bay. Good luck with your battle!

Actually, that doesn't sound weird at all—pretty clever, honestly. Did you have to drill through the wall or just run it through the door somehow? I'm considering something similar but worried about damaging the drywall.

Also, DampRid is great stuff. Have you tried those reusable silica gel packs too? I grabbed a few online and they've been surprisingly effective. You just toss them in the oven every few weeks to dry them out again... pretty convenient and less wasteful.

As for hair, hats are definitely lifesavers, haha. But have you experimented with leave-in conditioners or anti-frizz serums? I found one that helps tame things down without feeling greasy. Humidity might always win eventually, but at least we can put up a decent fight for a while.
