Yeah, I've noticed a bit of a drop in heating costs, but honestly, the biggest difference for me was fewer drafts. Did you find sealing up affected humidity levels at all? I've heard mixed things about that...

I've sealed up quite a few houses, including my own, and yeah, the humidity thing can be tricky. From what I've seen:

- Draft reduction definitely makes the house feel cozier, hands down.
- Humidity can creep up a bit if your home was previously super drafty, since less airflow means moisture sticks around.
- Personally, I ended up installing a simple bathroom exhaust fan upgrade to balance things out—worked like a charm.

Overall though, sealing up is totally worth it for comfort alone...humidity's manageable with minor tweaks.

Interesting take on sealing things up. I tried something similar last winter—sealed windows, doors, the whole nine yards. Definitely felt warmer, but honestly, humidity became more than just a minor annoyance. Even with exhaust fans running, we started noticing condensation on windows and some mold spots in corners that never had issues before. Ended up cracking a window slightly most days...which kinda defeated the purpose. Maybe it's just my older house, but seems like sealing tight isn't always straightforward?

Yeah, sealing a house too tight can feel like living in a giant plastic bag—I get it. Did you try adding a dehumidifier, or was that just another headache waiting to happen?

I dunno, sealing tight isn't always a plastic bag scenario. We did a pretty thorough insulation job last year—nothing fancy, just careful sealing around windows and doors—and honestly, it's been great. No drafts, lower bills, and the house feels cozy without feeling stuffy. Didn't even need a dehumidifier, just cracked windows occasionally for fresh air. I get the hesitation though...it's easy to go overboard chasing efficiency. Maybe it's about finding that sweet spot between comfort and practicality.
