I'm finally tackling the hideous floral wallpaper in my guest room (thanks, previous owners 🙄), and I'm stuck deciding between renting a steamer or just grabbing a chemical wallpaper stripper. I've heard steamers are less messy and maybe safer, but also slower and kinda tedious. On the other hand, chemical strippers seem quicker, but I'm not thrilled about dealing with fumes or harsh chemicals indoors, you know?

My cousin swears by her steamer - says it's relaxing even - but my neighbor insists chemicals are the only way to go if you don't wanna spend your whole weekend scraping tiny bits of paper off the wall.

Anyone tried both methods before? Which one did you prefer and why? I'm leaning toward steamer right now, but honestly, I just want this nightmare wallpaper gone without losing my sanity or damaging the drywall underneath.
