We moved into our first home last year and the kitchen counters are...well, let's just say they're not exactly Instagram-worthy, lol. We don't have a huge budget but want something nicer. Has anyone upgraded theirs without breaking the bank? Curious what worked for you guys.
We tackled something similar in one of our investment properties recently. Instead of replacing the counters entirely, we opted for butcher block from a local hardware store. Surprisingly affordable, and with a bit of sanding and sealing, they looked fantasticβwarm, inviting, and definitely Instagram-worthy. If you're comfortable with some DIY, itβs a great way to elevate the look without overspending. Just make sure you seal them properly to avoid water stains...lesson learned the hard way on that one.
