I've noticed drying with microfiber does help a bit, especially if you're picky about shine. But honestly, air drying isn't terrible either...maybe try microfiber once and see if the difference feels worth the extra effort? Lavender oil sounds dreamy btw, might steal that idea!

Microfiber definitely makes a difference for me too, but honestly, I don't always have the patience for it. Sometimes I just let it air dry and call it "rustic charm," haha. Lavender oil sounds amazing though—I've been using lemon oil lately, and it gives a nice fresh scent. Curious if anyone's tried mixing essential oils? Wondering if lavender and lemon together would be dreamy or just weird...

I've actually tried lavender and lemon together on my floors, and it's pretty nice. At first, I worried it'd smell like some weird herbal lemonade, but it turned out fresh and calming—perfect combo for a homey vibe. Just go easy on the lavender; too much can overpower the lemon. And honestly, I totally get the "rustic charm" thing... sometimes life's too short to chase every streak, right?

Lavender and lemon sounds like a solid combo. I've done similar mixes, and you're right—too much lavender can get overwhelming fast. Good call on keeping it subtle. And honestly, those streaks... they're part of the charm. I've remodeled a bunch of older homes, and sometimes embracing imperfections makes life easier. A little rustic vibe feels lived-in and welcoming anyway. You're definitely on the right track with your approach—less stress, more comfort.
