- Been there with the patchwork look—my last place had a bunch of little repairs and it just started to look tired.

Quick fixes are fine for tiny dings, but once you start seeing patches in high-traffic spots, it’s time to bite the bullet and do it right.

- I tried to keep up with spot fixes to save cash, but honestly, after a couple years it just looked mismatched.
- Finally saved up and did a full refinish. Upfront cost was rough, but it’s held up way better and I’m not stressing every time someone drops a pan.
- If you’re on a budget, maybe just focus on the worst areas first, but I agree—too many patches just don’t age well.
