I've mostly stuck to diluted vinegar myself, after learning the hard way that straight vinegar can be pretty harsh. I once accidentally dulled the finish on an old toaster oven—lesson learned, haha. Lemon juice diluted in water sounds interesting though... does it leave any sticky residue behind? I've had good luck with diluted vinegar on my fridge, but stainless steel can be tricky sometimes. Might give lemon juice a shot next time.

I've had a similar mishap with vinegar on stainless steel—ended up with streaks all over my dishwasher door...ugh. Lemon juice diluted in water worked surprisingly well though, and no stickiness left behind. Plus, the kitchen smelled amazing afterward, so definitely worth a try!

I've noticed vinegar can be tricky on stainless steel too—especially if it's not diluted enough or wiped off quickly. Lemon juice is a solid alternative, but I've also had good luck with just a tiny bit of olive oil on a microfiber cloth. Sounds weird, I know, but it buffs out streaks nicely and leaves a subtle shine. Just gotta be careful not to overdo it or you'll end up with a greasy mess... learned that the hard way, haha.

I've actually tried the olive oil trick too, and you're right—it works surprisingly well if you're careful. I once had a client who swore by coconut oil for stainless steel appliances. At first, I thought it sounded odd, but she demonstrated it, and honestly, it left a really nice finish. Has anyone here experimented with coconut oil or other unusual natural cleaners? Curious if there are more hidden gems out there...

I've never tried coconut oil, but I did experiment with white vinegar and baking soda on my fridge and dishwasher. At first, I was skeptical—thought it'd leave a weird smell—but surprisingly, it didn't linger at all. Just mixed equal parts vinegar and water, sprayed it on, wiped down, then sprinkled baking soda on stubborn spots. Waited a few minutes, wiped again, and it came out spotless. Definitely cheaper than store-bought cleaners, and no harsh chemicals either...might give coconut oil a shot next time though.
