Finally got a kitchen setup that survives my kids
Discussion options
After months of stepping on toys, bumping into open drawers, and constantly yelling "careful!" at my kids, we finally redid our kitchen. Went with rounded corners, lower cabinets they can actually reach (and put stuff away in, miracle of miracles), and a little breakfast nook where they can hang out while I cook. It's been a week and no injuries or broken dishes yet, haha. Curious if anyone else has managed to tame the chaos in their kitchen with a similar setup?

We did something similar last year - rounded edges were a lifesaver, honestly. One thing I'd add is drawers instead of cabinets for pots and pans...kids actually put stuff away now without me nagging. Who knew?
