Last night I woke up at like 3am and realized I'd left the bathroom fan running since my shower at around 10pm. Not the first time I've done this either, lol. It's just one of those things I always forget about because it's not loud enough to bug me, but then I feel guilty in the morning thinking about all that wasted electricity.
Anyway, I started googling around today and saw some people mentioning timer switches or something similar. Sounds like exactly what I need, honestly. I'm thinking it'd be nice to just hit a button and know it'll shut itself off after 20-30 mins. But I'm not sure how easy they are to install or if they work with any fan.
Has anyone else installed something like this? Did it actually help, or did you end up just ignoring it after a while too? Curious if it's worth the effort or if I'll still manage to find a way to waste electricity somehow, haha.
