Just saw a local news story about a house fire caused by faulty bathroom wiring—apparently the homeowner had some outdated electrical setup and moisture got into it. Kinda freaked me out because my place is older too, and I never really thought much about the wiring in there. Now I'm wondering if I should get someone to check it out or maybe upgrade to those safer outlets or something. Has anyone else dealt with this kinda thing before?

Yeah, definitely worth getting checked out. Had a similar scare last year—my electrician friend convinced me to upgrade to GFCI outlets. Wasn't too pricey, and honestly, peace of mind alone made it worth every penny. Better safe than sorry...
