I read somewhere recently that you can actually make a pretty cool lamp out of old wine bottles or mason jars by just using LED fairy lights. I mean, it sounds super simple and cheap, but apparently it looks really nice, especially outdoors or on a patio. Haven't tried it myself yet, but I'm thinking about giving it a go this weekend... anyone done something similar or got other easy lighting hacks?

Yeah, it does look great—I did something similar last summer with mason jars and solar-powered fairy lights. No wires, no fuss. Just hung them from hooks around the porch railing. Only thing I'd suggest is making sure you get LEDs with a warm glow rather than that bright white... feels way cozier, especially in the evenings.
