would insulating my sunroom make it usable year-round?

I've got this sunroom attached to the back of my house, and it's great in spring and fall, but honestly, winter and summer...it's either freezing or I'm roasting like a chicken. I've been thinking, what if I insulated it better, maybe added some thicker curtains or something? Would that even help much, or am I just dreaming here? Curious if anyone's tried turning their seasonal sunroom into a comfy year-round space.
