I'm redoing some plumbing in my house and I'm kinda stuck deciding between copper and PEX pipes. Copper seems like the classic, reliable choice, but man, it's pricey these days. PEX is cheaper and easier to install (from what I've heard), but I'm a little worried about durability long-term. Anyone have experience with either? Is copper really worth the extra cash or is PEX good enough for the long haul?
