Trying to juggle a bunch of blueprints and design changes for my kitchen remodel, and honestly, it’s getting messy. Are there any apps or tools that actually help keep everything organized? Paper plans are everywhere and I’m losing track. What do you all use?

Honestly, I’ve been there—blueprints on the table, sticky notes everywhere, and then someone moves a pile and it’s chaos. Have you tried something like Trello or Notion? They’re not perfect, but I find dragging digital “cards” around way easier than shuffling paper. Plus, you can snap pics of your sketches and upload them. It’s not as tactile as paper, but at least nothing gets lost under the coffee mug...

I totally get the sticky note chaos—my kitchen table looked like a detective’s evidence board for weeks. I tried using Notion after my dog knocked over a stack of receipts and paint samples (he looked so guilty). It’s not quite the same as scribbling on paper, but being able to snap a pic of my hand-drawn floor plan and stick it in a digital folder saved me from losing my mind. Still miss doodling in the margins, though...

That’s hilarious—dogs always know when they’ve caused chaos, don’t they? I’ve seen more than a few “crime scenes” like that on job sites, except it’s usually a gust of wind or someone’s coffee. Notion’s a solid move, though. I’ll admit, I’m still partial to the old-school clipboard and pencil for quick sketches, but snapping pics and tossing them in a digital folder does save a ton of headaches.

Ever try those erasable whiteboard sheets you can stick to the wall? They’re not as satisfying as doodling in the margins of a notebook, but at least you can go wild with ideas and wipe away the disasters. Still, nothing beats finding a random sticky note months later with “don’t forget light switch by fridge???” scrawled on it. Makes you wonder what else you almost missed...

Sticky notes are my nemesis. I swear, every time I think I’ve got things under control, I find one stuck to the back of a cabinet or inside a toolbox with something like “measure sink AGAIN” scribbled on it. The erasable whiteboard sheets are handy, but they get smudged if you brush past them with a sleeve (ask me how I know). Honestly, I’ve started taking photos of everything—sketches, receipts, even those random sticky notes—then dumping them into Google Drive folders. Not fancy, but at least it’s all in one spot when I need to double-check something.
