Totally feel you on the endless “just in case” stash—been there, tripped over that. I’ve started labeling bins by project (kitchen, bath, etc.) so at least I know where to start looking. Also, those “maybe” jars can get out of hand quick... I try not to let mine multiply. For manuals, Google Drive’s been a lifesaver—snap a pic, upload, done. Less paper, less panic when something breaks down.

I’ve tried the Google Drive/manuals trick too, but sometimes I forget to actually upload them in the first place... then I’m back to digging through drawers. Labeling bins by project is smart, though—do you ever end up with random bits that don’t fit any project? I swear, I always have a pile of “misc” stuff that never finds a home. How do you decide what’s worth keeping versus what’s just cluttering up your workspace?
