Just found out something kinda interesting today... apparently, architects often handle way more than just designing buildings. A friend told me they're usually the ones who deal with all the permit paperwork and red tape from the city. I always assumed that was on the contractor or homeowner. Makes sense though, since they know the ins and outs of building codes and zoning laws better than most. Wonder if that's standard everywhere or varies by region?
