That's quite the jump, but mold surprises are never fun... Did you find any eco-friendly ways to handle the mold removal or disposal? I've been curious about greener options for unexpected issues like that.

Been there with mold in our old Victorianβ€”definitely not fun. A few eco-friendly things that worked for us:
- White vinegar solution for smaller areas (surprisingly effective).
- Baking soda paste for scrubbing stubborn spots.
- Proper ventilation afterward is key, though... mold hates fresh air.

White vinegar has saved me a few times too, but do you find the smell lingers afterward? I usually open windows, but curious if you've found any tricks to get rid of that quicker...

I've noticed that too, but honestly, the vinegar smell fades faster if you run the bathroom fan along with opening windows. Have you tried mixing in a bit of lemon juice or essential oil to tone down the scent?

Yeah, lemon juice is a lifesaver. I once went a little overboard with vinegar cleaning before guests arrived, and my bathroom smelled like a pickle jar for hours...not exactly the spa vibe I was going for, lol. A splash of lemon juice or a few drops of lavender oil really helps mellow it out. Also, leaving the fan on longer than you think you need to makes a surprising difference.
