Okay, so I recently got one of those silicone mats to put under my cutting board because I was always kinda worried about slipping knives and stuff. Honestly, wasn't expecting much, but it's actually made a huge difference. Like, I didn't realize how often my board was sliding around until it stopped doing it.
But now I'm noticing all these other little things that make me nervousβlike putting hot pans directly on the counter (even though it's supposed to handle heat), or leaving cleaning sprays sitting out where my cat might knock them over. Am I just being overly cautious here? It's like once you notice one thing, suddenly everything looks like an accident waiting to happen.
Curious if anyone else has tried something similar like mats or trivets or whatever and found they made things feel safer...or maybe I'm just turning into my mom lol.
