Been thinking about redoing my kitchen storage lately, and I'm kinda stuck between open shelving and closed cabinets. Open shelves seem trendy and airy, plus it's nice to just grab stuff easily when cooking. But then again, cabinets hide clutter and dust...and let's be honest, my dishes aren't always display-worthy, you know? Curious what folks here prefer in their kitchens and why.

I've wondered about this too—especially since my kitchen stuff isn't exactly Instagram-ready, lol. Do you think open shelves would fit the style of your home long-term, or is it more of a passing trend? Cabinets might feel safer in the long run...
