What would you do if your kid wandered into a half-demo’d kitchen?

- Can’t tell you how many times I’ve dealt with “treasure” collections of screws and nails in weird places—pockets, shoes, even the fridge once.
- For half-demo’d kitchens, I throw down a couple of cheap drop cloths to catch debris, but honestly, nothing beats just keeping an eye out and setting clear “no-go” zones.
- I’m with you on supervised chaos—kids need to see how things work (and break), but sharp tools stay in my toolbox unless I’m right there.
- Lint rollers are genius for the little stuff, though I swear by a shop vac for the big messes... just don’t let them near the hose or you’ll be fishing out “hidden treasures” for days.
- Splinters happen, but it’s part of the process—band-aids are cheaper than therapy for helicopter parenting, right?
