Honestly, I think a little imperfection makes a place feel lived-in, not staged. I’ve flipped a few houses and it’s wild how buyers will nitpick stuff like uneven brick or paint, but then love “character” if it’s trendy. Ever thought about redoing it, or are you just rolling with the look? I’ve seen people try to fix their own work and end up making it worse... sometimes you just have to call it done and move on.

I totally get what you mean about “character”—it’s funny how a little quirk can be a selling point if it’s got the right vibe. I’ve definitely had moments where I wondered if I should go back and fix something, but honestly, sometimes the eco-friendliest thing is just leaving well enough alone. Have you noticed if the imperfection actually bothers you day-to-day, or is it more about what others might think? I’ve found that once I stop seeing it, it’s probably not worth the extra materials or effort to redo.

- Totally agree, but sometimes I wonder if that’s just me rationalizing being lazy.
- I had a tile edge that wasn’t perfect—bugged me for a week, then I stopped noticing.
- Do you think “character” ever crosses into “eyesore” territory, or is it all about mindset?
