I've been thinking lately - what if you started redoing your garage, thinking it's gonna take maybe a month tops, and suddenly it's like six months later and you're still parking on the street and tripping over tools and paint cans every day. Um, my cousin's neighbor literally had tarps and plywood stacked up for almost a year. I'm curious how long people here could handle living in renovation limbo before totally losing their sanity.

Haha, this hits way too close to home. I once started a "quick" garage flip - three months tops, right? Fast forward eight months, and I'm pretty sure my neighbors thought I was opening a hardware store...
