Every time I head to the hardware store for a DIY project, I swear I spend more time wandering around looking for stuff than actually working on the project itself. Like, last weekend I went in for some screws and wood glue, and ended up spending 40 minutes just trying to find the right aisle. And don't even get me started on finding someone to help out - it's like they're playing hide and seek with customers sometimes, lol.

So I'm wondering if anyone has tips or hacks for making these trips quicker and easier. Do you guys use store apps, or maybe some kind of planning method before you head in? Or is there a certain store chain that's known for being organized and helpful? I'm open to anything at this point, because honestly, my DIY motivation is fading fast every time I have to spend half my day lost among paint cans and plumbing fixtures.
