Why Is It Impossible to Find Helpful Staff at DIY Stores?

Every time I go into one of these big-box DIY places, it's like the employees vanish into thin air. I wander around aisles forever looking for someone to help, and when I finally do find someone, they're always "from another department," you know? Is it just my bad luck or does this happen everywhere?

I've had similar experiences, but honestly, I think it depends a lot on timing and location. A few DIY stores near me have actually stepped up their game lately - clear aisle signage, call buttons for assistance, even store apps that pinpoint exactly where items are. Maybe it's worth checking if your local store has an app or online inventory? Not perfect, but it beats wandering around aimlessly...
