I used to get mold in my shower corners all the time, drove me nuts. Then I started keeping a cheap squeegee in there and just quickly wiping down the walls after showering. Takes like 20 seconds tops, and no more mold. Curious if anyone else has other easy tricks?

I've dealt with mold in my old house shower for years, and your squeegee trick is spot-on. A couple other things I've found useful:

- Run the bathroom fan (or crack a window) during and after showers—airflow makes a huge difference.
- Every now and then, spray a mix of vinegar and water in the corners. Super easy and cheap.
- If you're feeling crafty, redoing the grout with mold-resistant stuff helps long-term. Bit more effort, but worth it.

Hope that helps!

Fan and vinegar mix, totally agree, those are lifesavers. But redoing grout...lazy hack? Nah, that's where I draw the line—sounds like a weekend project from hell. I'll stick to spraying vinegar and calling it a day.

• Vinegar spray is great, agreed—but curious, have you tried tea tree oil? I heard it's antifungal and supposed to be pretty effective.
• About grout...yeah, total nightmare. Had to redo mine once (historic home owner here, grout was ancient). Thought it'd be a quick weekend thing—turned into a full-blown saga. Never again.
• Also wondering about ventilation—do you guys leave the fan on just during showers or longer? I've started leaving mine running about 20 mins after, seems to help a bit.
• One more thing, anyone tried those moisture absorbers like DampRid in bathrooms? Curious if they actually help or if it's just marketing hype...

Tea tree oil is legit, actually. My sister swears by it—she mixes a few drops with water in a spray bottle and gives the shower a quick spritz every couple days. Smells kinda strong at first, but fades quickly and definitely keeps mold at bay. As for DampRid, I tried it once in our basement bathroom. It helped a bit, but honestly, good ventilation made way more difference overall.
