Leaving the door open is underrated, honestly. I’ve seen so many rentals where people invest in all these “miracle” products, but the basics—like a squeegee—save you money and headaches.

Not glamorous, but it does the trick.
That’s the stuff that keeps properties in shape long-term. High-tech is great until it isn’t.

I used to think I needed all those fancy sprays and gadgets, but honestly, just leaving the shower door cracked made a bigger difference than anything else. My first place had zero ventilation and I was always battling mold. Now, I just wipe down the glass with a cheap squeegee and let the air do its thing... way less stress. Sometimes the old-school tricks really are best.

I hear you. I used to hand out those moisture absorber buckets in my rentals like Halloween candy, but half the time folks just ignored them. Cracked door and a cheap squeegee? Way more effective... and less for me to replace when someone moves out.

Leaving the door cracked works, but I swear by a quick wipe-down with a squeegee after each shower. Takes like 30 seconds and you barely notice you're doing it after a week or two. Also, if you've got a bathroom fan, running it for 10-15 minutes after showering does wonders. Tried the moisture buckets too—most folks just let them sit and get gross. Airflow's the real MVP here.

I used to be super lazy about this and just left the door open, but after a while I noticed the grout was getting that gross pinkish stuff. Started using a squeegee like you said—honestly, it’s way less of a hassle than scrubbing mold later. The fan helps, but if you forget to turn it on, it’s game over. Never had much luck with those moisture buckets either... they just end up looking nasty in the corner. Airflow and a quick wipe-down really are the way to go.
