I used to have those old-school fluorescent tubes—you know, the ones that flicker and buzz and make your kitchen feel like a hospital cafeteria? Anyway, swapped them out for some sleek LED strips under the cabinets and a couple recessed fixtures in the ceiling. Took me a weekend to install (I'm not exactly handy, lol), but it was totally worth it. The whole space feels warmer and brighter, and cooking at night doesn't feel like I'm prepping dinner in a horror movie anymore.
Curious if anyone else has done something similar or maybe tried different setups? I'm thinking about adding some dimmers next, but not sure if that's overkill for a kitchen...
