Recessed LEDs flicker near the bottom of the dimmer range

Does flickering only at very low brightness usually point to a mismatch between the dimmer and the recessed LEDs, or can it still signal a loose connection or failing driver? I’m curious whether the pattern helps narrow it down: do all the lights on one dimmer flicker together, or does one fixture behave differently?

What information on the dimmer and LED driver labels is useful for checking compatibility before replacing anything? And if the flickering happens at every brightness, or the labels don’t clarify the match, is that a good point to have an electrician check the wiring and fixtures?

For the labels, check the dimmer’s stated LED load range, including any minimum, and compare it with the combined wattage of all the connected recessed lights. A load below the dimmer’s minimum can make low-end flicker more likely, even if each light is individually within its rating. That helps tell whether a different dimmer or a compatible set of lights is the better fit.
