Codes? Blink and they change.
That’s the part that trips me up every time. I’ll design a space thinking I’m ahead of the curve, then suddenly there’s a new rule about stair rail heights or window egress. I keep a binder just for “code surprises”—it’s getting thick. Sometimes it feels like you need a detective badge just to hang wallpaper these days.
