if you could magically add extra space to your lounge, how would you use it?

I've been daydreaming lately about what I'd do if I suddenly had extra space in my lounge area. You know, like if the walls just scooted out a few feet overnight—no construction mess, no permits, just instant bonus room. I'd probably set up a cozy reading nook with one of those oversized chairs you can practically sink into, maybe a little bookshelf and a lamp that actually gives off decent light (unlike the one I have now, lol). Or maybe I'd finally have room for a proper gaming setup without tripping over cables every time I walk by.

But then again, I could also see myself turning it into a mini home gym area or even a small indoor garden corner. I'm terrible at keeping plants alive, but hey, maybe more space would inspire me to finally get a green thumb.

Anyway, just curious—if your lounge suddenly expanded overnight, how would you fill up that extra space?

Honestly, adding more space might not solve your cable problem—it could just give you more room to spread the mess around, lol. Instead, I'd suggest investing in some decent cable management solutions first. I've seen setups where even small spaces look super clean and organized just by using cable sleeves and clips. Extra space is nice, but sometimes smarter organization makes a bigger difference...speaking from experience here.

True, but let's be honest—no amount of cable sleeves ever fully tamed my gaming corner. I swear those cables multiply overnight...maybe magic extra space is the only real solution here, haha.

Haha, tempting thought...but honestly, have you tried going wireless where you can? I used to have a cable jungle behind my TV stand too, and switching just a few peripherals to wireless really helped. Sure, it's not perfect—there's always that one stubborn cable—but it made a noticeable difference. Maybe magic isn't the only answer after all?
