Wi-fi dead zones and cable chaos: anyone else fighting with their setup?

- Pull string in the wall - never thought of that. Makes sense, but I keep wondering if it’d just get tangled up with everything else back there.
- I’m still at the stage where I’m figuring out if I should even bother hiding all my cables or just embrace the “organized chaos” look.
- Color-coded sleeves sound cool, but do they actually help when you’ve got like five black HDMI cables and a couple ethernet lines all running together? Or does it just make the mess more colorful?
- I tried those adhesive cable raceways once. They looked neat for about a week, then started peeling off the wall. Maybe my paint is too slick or something...
- Is there a trick to fishing new cables through existing wall plates without having to cut new holes? Every time I try, it feels like I’m playing Operation and losing badly.
- Also, anyone ever regret going with in-wall wiring instead of just using conduit on the outside? The idea of being able to swap stuff out easily is tempting, but it seems less “finished.”
