finally got around to insulating the attic, and wow, what a difference

So last weekend I finally tackled the attic insulation project I've been putting off forever. Honestly, I wasn't expecting much, just figured it'd help a bit with the drafts and maybe save a few bucks on heating. But seriously, I can't believe how much warmer the house feels already. Even my notoriously chilly bedroom is cozy now—my cat's been sleeping there nonstop, so that's gotta mean something, right? Curious if anyone else has done something similar and noticed a big improvement.

Couldn't agree more. I spent ages insulating our attic only to realize later the real culprit was the tiny gap under our patio door. Felt a bit silly chasing drafts around the house, but lesson learned—seal first, insulate second!
