So I just moved into this older house, and the basement feels kinda damp and chilly, especially now that it's getting colder outside. I'm thinking maybe the insulation isn't great or something? I've heard different things about dehumidifiers, vapor barriers, insulation types...honestly, it's a bit overwhelming. Has anyone dealt with this before or have tips on how to keep the basement feeling dry and comfortable without spending a fortune?
