Did heated tile in my last flip and honestly, zero regrets. Cork sounds cozy, but after dealing with a sneaky leak once (trust me, not fun...), tile just feels safer. Plus, warm tiles on chilly mornings? Worth every penny.

Leaks are indeed troublesome, especially in older homes like mine. Heated tile is a solid choice—durable, practical, and easy to maintain. I'd also recommend regular inspections of grout and seals to catch issues early. Saves headaches later on.

Couldn't agree more—catching it early is half the battle. Ever notice how leaks always seem to pop up at the worst possible time? Like right before guests arrive or when you're already juggling ten other things... Anyway, heated tiles are definitely a smart move. They're not just comfy; they actually help dry out moisture quicker, which can be a lifesaver in older bathrooms. Hang in there, sounds like you're on the right track.

Heated tiles are a nice touch, hadn't thought about the moisture angle before. I recently switched to eco-friendly sealants and grout—pricey at first, but they've held up surprisingly well. Had a leak once right before a holiday weekend (typical...), and ever since then, I'm all about prevention. Sounds like you're already ahead of the curve with regular checks, though. Keep at it, it'll pay off in the long run.

Good call on the eco-friendly stuff, though I'd say sometimes traditional grout still has the edge durability-wise. Had a client who insisted on green products, and while they're decent, we've seen occasional issues long-term. Still, prevention's always key...
