Kitchen Redesign Adventure: Worth the Hype or Not?

If you can save a bit by not moving outlets around too much, that’s a win for the budget. But sometimes it’s worth spending a little extra for the look you want.

Definitely get wanting things to look clean, but I always try to balance that with function and efficiency - especially if you’re thinking long-term or resale. A few things I’ve seen work:

- Under-cabinet outlet strips: keeps the backsplash clear, looks tidy, and no weird cord runs behind appliances.
- Pop-up outlets in counters: pricier, but super sleek and less visual clutter.
- If you’re updating anyway, consider adding USB outlets - future-proofing never hurts.

I know moving wiring isn’t cheap, but sometimes it saves headaches later. Just my two cents...
