I've been going through some building regulations lately for a renovation project, and man, some of these guidelines are intense. On one hand, you've got these super detailed, strict standards that cover every little thingβlike exactly how wide doors need to be, or the exact placement of alarms. On the other hand, some places have simpler, more flexible guidelines that leave room for interpretation and common sense. I'm kinda torn... the detailed ones feel safer, but the flexible ones seem easier to follow without losing your mind. Curious which approach folks here prefer and why?
