Cleaning textured bathroom tile without wearing down the grout

What’s a sensible low-waste routine for textured bathroom floor tile that removes soap film and grime without leaving a slippery residue or gradually damaging the finish or grout?

I’d expect the advice to depend on the surface: glazed porcelain isn’t the same as natural stone, and cement-based grout may need different care from epoxy grout. Does the texture change how you choose a brush or cleaning method? I’m also interested in reusable brushes and concentrated cleaners, but don’t want to assume either is suitable for every tile and grout combination.

Texture should change the tool more than the cleaner: a flat mop can skim over deep or narrow grooves, while a soft nylon brush can reach into them. Use light pressure, and choose bristle stiffness for the tile and grout, not the texture alone; a brush that’s gentle on glazed porcelain may still be too abrasive for a delicate finish.
