Redoing our bathroom soon and I'm kinda paranoid about slipping accidents (had a close call once, not fun). I've seen some tiles advertised as slip-resistant, but I'm skeptical about how effective they really are. Has anyone here installed tiles specifically designed to prevent slipping? Do they actually work well, or is it mostly marketing hype? Any brands or types you'd recommend or steer clear of? Thanks in advance!

Slip-resistant tiles can definitely help, but they're not all created equal. Look for tiles with higher COF ratingsβ€”anything 0.6 or above is usually decent. Brands like Daltile or American Olean have reliable options. Still, adding a textured bath mat doesn't hurt either...just to be safe.
